FELVER

To some Felver is simply the professor. Widely appreciated for his music
connoisseurship and unspoken sensitivity of a gentleman, Felver has defined
Zagreb’s clubbing and house scene like no other DJ. On rotation since more than 25
years, he has been bringing the best of contemporary and evergreen sounds to
audiences in clubs and festivals around the world, on the radio, at the Croatian coast
and in some of the most impressive cultural locations in Zagreb and Belgrade. And
not just as a DJ, but as a host, an event organizer and a visionary force.

Stereotip is his latest project. For Stereotip Felver curates and hosts a series of events
with the celebrated RA Nr. 1-DJ Dixon, his longtime friend. The events are set on a
Sunday afternoon and run deep into the night, stretching expectations in every sense.
Not just the musical protagonists are hand picked locally and internationally by Felver and
Dixon, but a meticulously staged lightshow and artwork. Stereotip generally sells out
within minutes, making it the hottest ticket in town.

Most of Felver’s expertise goes back to his Stereo Studio nights at Tvornica club, an
offbeat concert and clubbing venue known for its alternative programming throughout
Croatia and beyond. Running from 1998 Stereo Studio hosted many legendary
names of house music including Dixon, Doc Martin, Richie Hawtin, Ian Pooley, Jeff
Mills, and Mr. C among others. It was Stereo Studio that pushed Felver into the strata
of leading cultural figures in Croatia, making his name a brand.

As such Felver worked for Radio 101, Croatia’s iconic radio station. He was Deep
FM’s external collaborator from 1991-2001 and its musical director from 2010-2012.
Commencing his career with Cosmic Disco nights at Aquarius (Zagreb), fine-tuning it
during Wiggle nights at Fabric (London) and ultimately reinventing it recently with
Fuck Your Dreams, This is Heaven at Master’s club (Zagreb) Felver’s nocturnal energy
and pull is so irresistible that he can instantly claim his own audience at most of the
venues the Balkans have to offer. Again and again he has proved that he is one of the
go-to-DJs for a one of a kind sonic journey.
